Besides the fact that she is too old for your brother (thanks, Moses, for a genuine guffaw), I think a review is in order:

- 4th marriage. I'm no naysayer, but flying Dash Four in a flight of four is usually not a sign of excellence. Will he/she actually go the mile for this kid? The only thing worse than old parents is divorced old parents. I know some people make it work: they are the exception.

- Birth Control. The prospective mother and father didn't noodle that little item through, left it to bonne chance? Fish gotta swim, but, put a tent over the circus.

- Any other Children? I'm thinking the fertile crescent(s) have a passel...

I have nothing other to say than should I ever find myself in your OB's situation, I'm raising the child, because it is a child, right now.
