HELP with engine specs
I am preparing to convert my '68 912 to a 911 engine would like some advise. I have gotten a engine (1974) with rebuilt webers. Number on top of the fan housing is 901 106 101 5R and stamped on case on the right side is *64D4709*. I am trying to determine motor spec's and any help would be appreciated. The engine mount bar has a dampener and a center pivot and it came out of a car with a 915 trans. Any help as to spec's , displacement, proper clutch for motor etc will be appreciated
The engine not turning so I am assumming a rebuild but it may be due to sitting for extended time. Carbs look brand new except velocity stacks which are rusty Can I squirt something down the spark plug holes and carbs to see if it will free up?
