Those are great stories, thanks for sharing!!! Any chance you'd have photos from that era? Would love to see those two cars!
I already have a wide body project, so for this car, I want to retain the original narrow body form. I have a lexan hatch and I also have one of the lightweight GT spoilers, which I may use, still undecided, as I have a 931 and 944 spoiler as well...so 3 to choose from. I probably won't go to the trouble and expense of lexan for the quarter and driver windows unless I come across a super deal on those. But I do have everything necessary to do the fixed headlight conversion, which will definitely save some weight...just not 100% convinced of that look on the narrow body car.
