i too agree that the some people who drive the newer porsches are not porsche guy
at heart,i remember back in the 70s when i drove my 911e,everyone returned my thumb
sign if they saw me and its very noticeable back then.now i drive a 86 and the other day
when i try to strike a conversation to a guy parked next to me outside a petsmart store,
i asked what year is his (a very nice and new one) and told him mine is an 86 and all he said
was its a different breed , smiled at me and got into the car.may be he was afraid that i
would start the porsche talk and he has no idea how to talked to me.
