Any update on this? My door opens and closes fine from the inside. When the passenger door is unlocked, I can pull the outside handle and the window will drop down, but the door latch will not release. It was giving me a hard time the last few months, but it just completely stopped opening from the outside all together the other day.

Any ideas? Is it the outer door handle pull lever trigger?
