They do go to the counties...I'm talking Gov't in general. Had our taxes been pegged to home valuations, during flush times they'd have taken that money and spent it and then some. IMO the best thing is to give them less...moveover, they NEED to live w/in their means as we all do and also have a rainy day fund. So that means spending even LESS than what they take in. Never happen.
