So when the immobilizer arms on my '97 Cab, I get the "double blink" trouble code.

I have narrowed it to the glove box sensor point. When the system arms with the glove box door open/light on, the immobilizer arms normally and does not display the "double blink" trouble code.

Is there possibly a ground wire that has shorted, or does this indicate a defective glove box switch?

I'm a little flummoxed, but don't see any other wiring connections in the glove box other than the light switch.

Any pointers appreciated.
