I got the Minolta Dimage 5 because I have always used Minolta Maxxum 35mm. and wanted to stick with Minolta (Well, I can't afford Nikon

) The Minolta Dimage 7I is the one to get, but I couldn't afford that either. I got a kick a$$ deal on this one on Ebay. $400 with a 256CF card and all kinds of extra goodies. The dude I got it from sent his receipt with it and he just paid $800 in Dec. 01 and the receipt didn't have all the stuff he sent with it. I Metal Detect as a hobby and this does good macro shots on coins. Speaking of which, not that you guys probably care, I found one of my goal coins for the year tonight!(we make goals each new years what coins we want to find for the year, types of coins we have never found before personally) I found an 1858 Seated half dollar.

I was thrilled!

Ain't worth much, but they are very rarely found. Back then, 50¢ was a lot of money and if someone lost something that big, they usually looked till they found it. I also found an 1888s Seated Dime tonight along with a bunch of Indian heads and wheat cents and a 17 merc dime. Sorry, I am still hyped about the half!
