Something didn't work with your photo post... but I bet it's purty... that's a beautiful area.
In the early '70s, I was working for an architect who was doing updates and room additions on some of the on-base housing on PI and I spent some time doing site surveys down there one summer with a team of guys. We located the trees (mostly huge, beautiful live oaks) on the site plan so the work could be planned/drawn up.
Talk about humidity, though... you could cut it with a knife. Yikes.
