The other question I have is regarding the top box on the motor, I don't know what it is called but I think it is a plenum, It covers the throttle bottle. There is 8 rubber pieces that are there about the size of a radiator hose, My question is can I buy a straight piece of rad hose the same diameter and cut it into equal lengths and use it instead of buying the actual rubber that goes there. Has anyone done it before. Thanks

Is radiator hose the same diameter? If it is, seems like it may work. Radiator hose is designed to handle super-high heat, seems it would hold up. But I'm not a current 928 owner, so don't listen to me.......seriously. Good luck.
