IIRC, you got your choice of two gas engine V8's in the 2004 Expedition, the 4.6 and the 5.4. I've never seen an EB that wasn't a 5.4 but you should run the VIN and that would tell you for certain site unseen.
Regarding that 5.4. Really want to watch the spark plugs on the three valve heads. They have a stunning propensity to be removed along with the threads of the head and in some cases, even a nice little chunk of the head. This is so common that there is actually a "Ford Replacement/Repair" process for this. Think heli-coil... Not covered by recall at all. Probably outside of warranty as well.
Not sure of all the years affected, but 2004 to2007 seems to ring a bell. Highly suggest you look into this as it can be a rather expensive repair. Not expensive like 3.0 Porsche head studs, but definately expensive.
