The previous owner of my car took a 1971 911S and made a short hood. I guess now I have no reason to hold back on the modifications but there is just something about the long hood.
I think you should make a 911ST replica with a screaming 2,2 engine and a proper road-racing 911 transaxle. The 1971 is a very special, unique model year. You should celebrate that.
Or backdate the 964. Do not cut the '71. You can fund your project with it.
