I dunno. I have around 1 1/2 acres of grass to mow, and I go around trees and granite 'obliscs'. My old craftsman took a while, but I got my John Deere L130, and can mow it in about 1 3/4 hours. The current model is the JD L150. They have them at Lowes, and I think they're a little more than 2K. Their seats are also a lot more comfy than Craftsman. I'm guessing I've had mine for 4 +/- years, and all I've done is replace the blades and a spring. And I must say, I'm not real nice to my mower.

You can also get the Craftsman trailer and tank sprayer, and spray whatever you want whereever you want in a fraction of the time. All electric off the power port. Good luck.
