Actually, I don't think the new Fuchs contain much unobtainium, but certainly have their share of unaffordium.
With regards to your question, from what I've read here, they have their detractors, mainly based on principle. I have not heard of any failures, and you just KNOW if it was a problem, you'd hear about it here.
For the record, I don't have a set, but for street use, I wouldn't be terribly concerned about structural integrity. To my knowledge none have complained about cosmetic issues, either. Is this a case of no news is good news? Probably. People tend to comment only if there are problems.
