I have my 38 Buick registered as an antique vehicle here in MA, and there are basically the same restrictions for use... no problem taking it for a pleasure ride, going to a car show, taking it somewhere for maintenance etc. but they will not cover you (and you will get harassed by the staties) if you are using it to commute or run errands.

The plus side is that my Porsche (which is appraised for insurance at close to the value of the '38) costs be about $200/month in insurance whereas the Buick costs about $7/month.
