In a previous post about steering wheels I had complained about how close my MOMO steering wheel is to the dash. So close, in fact, that occasionally I inadvertantly turn on my windshield wipers when turning due to accidentally bumping the wiper arm. So, I would prefer my wheel to be a bit closer to me than it is, but not so close as to hinder getting in and out of the car. I would think that if you don't have any trouble getting in and out, and it doesn't feel "too close" then that would be just right.
