JB is very tough stuff, however, you don't want that part to come loose and ingress into your alternator or fan.

If there is no gap, and the parts fit flush, I have repaired non moving plastic components by literally welding them back together with a small soldering iron.

Why don't you check the used parts Pelican website and spend a bit more time on this.

You really want to do this right.
