We'd probably do the additions/improvement over several decades, not right away. The steel building would probably be in the first 5 years. The addition would be somewhere in the next ten years.

Things out in the country don't seem to be moving right now. We have an older couple from Saybrook (small town north of Champaign and straight east of here) coming to look at our house on Saturday. They want to move back into town. The couple selling the house we found out of town are older, but I don't know where they are moving to.

Before Christmas, entry-level houses in town were hot. After Christmas, it flipped and suddenly houses in the price range we are looking got hot, though with ones out of town moving slower.
