The Dynomax sounds deep and throaty with out any resonance, and is very civil inside and out, until you stand on it. I have a cat bypass so it is pretty free flowing.............

Same here. That's exactly what I did and I was pleased with the results. With Fabspeed premufflerTame at low rpms and rips like a small V8 at full song.
I had a friend who runs a Meineke cook up the inlet pipe with a pipe flaring and bending machine, and I agree that it's just as easy to make your own with some bends cut & welded together. Friend's goal was no welding, so that's why mine's all bend and slip-flanged. Works, but a little sloppy. If I did it again, i'd use the bottom for the inlet and the top for the tail pipe.
