My choice would be a 351 W with a 408 stroker kit, afr 225 heads, Edelbrock Air Gap RPM intake, a cam around 286/296 with a centerline of 112 and a lift in the
.510 range The carb should be the 825 to 850 range
Skip the 4 spd and drop in a Tremec with 5 spd/overdrive
Rear gears around 3.90 to 4.11's will wake it right up but still let you cruise at 75-80 around 2,800 rpm (150 mph will be in the 5,ooo rpm range)
