I just saw this on CNN. It talks about a new super high alcohol-content beer that is being imported from Scotland.

I lived in Brussels for a year or so, and enjoyed the strong "abdij" beers created by catholic monks in their abbeys [I'm not kidding] up to about 8%. More than that and the alcohol content was obnoxious; the stuff becomes undrinkable after that in my opinion. The monks brew it as high as 12%.
