It depends on how much you want to keep your car dry then doesn't it? No water ingress in mine whatsoever in 2 years, even after snow flattening it onto the roof. I can remove the cover in about 2 minutes and replace it in not much more. I use my car regularly in summer and about weekly in winter when the roads are dry, just to give her a run and to make me feel good about myself and can be on the road in not much longer than it would take to open and close up a garage.
