If you're car camping, your really only limited to your imagination. On canoe camping trips I have made fondue, beef chili, burritos, even made duck a l'orange in a dutch oven once. I would leave the peak 1 behind if you're cooking for a large group; they're too small cook large enough quantities of food and are very tipsy with large pots.

If you're looking for "I know how to boil water" simple, I often cook the lipton/korr brand of alfredo etc that come in a packet (great backpacking food as well) and if you really want to wow them make one of those jello no-bake cheesecakes.
