The weight is only really an issue if you're going to carry it any great distances. What is the intended use of the spoon? If it's just a range gun, make it as heavy as you want and put it on a Harris bi-pod.
Front heavy is not necessarily a bad thing, as it does help to tame muzzle climb, which, with a 6.8mm, you are going to have.
