It is Friday again.
Tomorrow I'm going to the Porschedays in Spa, Francorchamps!!!
My mechanic friend invited me to his stand in the F1 pitboxes.
A day of looking at, smelling, hearing, breathing and touching Porsches!!!! And I suspect there will be a good deal of fine honeys as well....
The guy that invited me also races in Belcar races (formerly the Dunlop Endurance Cup) with a 2008 997 Supercup, and he is fast.
I'm hoping the car will be there as well this weekend (very likely) and maybe get to ride shotgun for a few laps!

I am seriously jealous of you right now.
Many years ago I was at a track day at Road Atlanta. I got a ride in a genuine 911 RSR. I was convinced the driver was about to commit suicide as we approached the first corner. He was still accerlating when he should have been on the brakes. He hardly lifted and we made the corner and we started going even faster.
I had driven the track in the session before in my 1974 914 2.0 and the speed difference was mind blowing.
