There is nothing wrong with drinking in moderation, but I can tell you from personal experience, it can become consuming (no pun intended) and some never get to learn the lessons, or learn them the hard way.
Sid, I know it is kinda surreal to think someone young that you know did that to themselves, but don't worry, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, and it just goes to show, Darwin may not have been completely wrong.
