The debate continues....
A good rebuild is as good if not better than a new one, a BAD rebuild is aggravation in a box. I went for a new one. It depends on the rebuilder. I hear there is a guy named Zim (I think) who comes well regarded, but I cannot vouch personally. Warranties don't mean a lot as the real difficulty is getting in and out again. Doing the job once is bad enough, doing it a second time is torture.
Your call as it is your car. I went new. It depends on how lucky you feel. You COULD put a used but good boneyard pump in there. Well...Do ya feel lucky? IMHO go new.
