Just go with your friendly neighborhood PCA driving schools. Depending where you are in the country, PCA regional chapters often run track days where you get about 2 hours of actual driving each day the track is rented by the club. The costs is about $450 for 2 day-3day events in NJ. Check out PCA website and local region and call the track chairman/person of the nearest region. So actual track time is about $100/hr. The other advantage is you have to bring your own car and would get a feel for the limits in a car you drive frequently.
Good schools are Porsche driving schools but pricey ($3500 for 2 days).
