I have a '91 944 S2 and I was hoping someone could give me some advice on how to get rid of a rattle.

I have finally got to the bottom of an annoying rattle. It is the trunk and seems to be the left hand closing mechanism (ok, that's not the right word, but the left hand mechanism that keeps the trunk closed). Once the rattle develops, I just have to open the trunk and shut it properly again. However, recently it is there all the time and the left mechanism does not seem to hold the trunk fully shut any more.

If someone can understand what I am saying, are there any suggestions as to how to, maybe, tighten the left mechanism so it closes the trunk properly?
