On a semi-related note, last week while heading into work on I10 a silver 914 w/flares passed me. I notices twin pipes out the back and it didn't sound like any 2.0 I ever heard. I caught up to him and held up 6 fingers. He smiled and held up 8. Traffic slowed so we conversed a bit...turns out it is a 350 V8, and his dad has a 914/6. Not purist, but a nasty little car. He said "nice car" to my SC, and then went off.
