Yep, but will it pull 5K lbs @65mph through west virginia? That's one of the biggest reasons I have a truck, to pull the porsche, miata, or crx to whatever event I'm going to. I've had a car go south of my at an event, I got lucky someone was going through my town and had a street legal car towed there. I don't want to repeat that.
My next truck might be a 2011 ecoboost F150. 23-24mpg on the highway unloaded + plenty of towing capacity. Not quite a diesel, but close.
