My wife was on her way to go pick up our kid from school this afternoon and got hit. She and the other driver are just fine. The other driver was going in the opposite direction and decided to make a left hand turn right in front of my wife. Basically turned right into the side of her car. There was no turn lane and it was a double striped middle of the road. It doesn't look really bad but its going to need a new rear door and possibly a new left rear quarter panel because the metal is creased in a bad spot. Any body guys out there agree?
I did have to laugh when my wife told me the story. The woman that hit her got out of her car and said to my wife, "Didn't you see me making a left hand turn?" My wife's reply was "There is no turn lane here! Didn't you see me driving?, and YES! I did see you make your turn. Right into the side of my car!"
