Thanks Matt
I was just posting this for everyone to see. It is from Alexanders mom
Hello everyone,
We got to Burbank safely on Friday late afternoon. That evening we got to see our dear friend Kim who was out of town when we were there the week before. It was such a great visit! I really am glad that we got to see each other again after so long!
Hilary arrived on late friday night as well and of course Alexander even though he was very tired would not go to sleep until his sister got here
We got up Saturday morning to get ready for our escorted ride. We decided that we need to wear Ferrari shirts like Alexander! He was so excited, and boy did he have every reason to be.
Shortly after 10 A.M. the Burbank police along with a few exotics. Ferrari, Lamborghini, and a porsche met us at the Safari Inn. The Police had blocked off a lane on West Olive Ave. (the busy street that the hotel is on) the cars were on the street waiting to escort us to the Pic Wick Parking lot.
We arrived to a smiling Haig and a sea of beautiful Ferraris, Lamborghinis and exotic cars! We could not believe our eyes. I as usual was the weepy mother! It is so endearing to have this experience for Alexander.
We then headed with I think there were about 50 of these beautiful cars in front, next to us, and behind! It was as if Alexander was getting this huge hug wrapped around him. We then stopped at The Auto Gallery; there were even more people there welcoming our little man with open hearts and arms. This was one of the most wonderful experiences of of our lives.
At the Auto Gallery, Haig introduced Alexander to a gentleman by the name of Armen. He is the owner of an "Enzo" Ferrari (for those who don't know is the Ferrari of all Ferraris)! Alexander was very impressed and felt honoured to have seen this beautiful vehicle. Thank you Armen for sharing this with Alexander.
Armen then lead us onto the Highway and away we went! The cars coming up along side the van with that wonderful hum of the motors was very exhilarating. Alexander asked us to please get his Dad on the phone to hear the cars, it was such a thrill for him! Once we arrived in Santa Barbara, Haig bought everyone lunch at In and out Burgers. Thank you for that. It was very nice of you. After lunch we sadly had to say goodbye to our very special new found friends! It was so sentimental, and we are so happy to have all these people come into our lives.
Thanks again everyone.
Steve
