Most safes are actually just residential security containers sold as "safes".
Buy the best you can afford... and can
move. I've had to lug this 2,000lb bastard all the way from MT to TN to PA... now I may have to move it to NH. I can't afford to pay safe movers so I bought a pallet jack on Craigslist and just rent a Ryder truck with hydraulic lift gate. It's still scary though, even with help.
