My grandpa was in the US Navy during WWII. He died in 1991. I am loving these shows because I can really see and feel some of the things he went through. These men were truly selfless heroes and I find myself in awe watching. The episode when they showed them boarding the transports and then leaving the ship to invade Peleleiu (sp) are amazing.
