Hi all,

I am a first time owner of a Porsche and this is my first time on this forum so i was wondering if any one can help me with a small problem.
I have a problem with my 12/82 928S, the rev limiter cuts in at 4000RPM even when the engine is at normal operating temperature, this is however affected by the ambient temperature outside. If it is a cool day the problem persists but if it is a hot day say plus 35 degrees celcius the problem goes away. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what causes this to happen and any remedies there are to fix it.
