About 6 months ago I bought this one second hand from a dealer in town.
He originally had $6,500 on it but with cash and a bit of negotiation I did much better than that... The same watch now is $12,500 new.
It's a 2000 model with papers and box.
Do what I did. Go into a second hand dealer with cash and let him know you have cash.
Bargain hard and have fun doing it. Smile a lot and crack jokes and ask him about his family. Keep it light and as I said have fun.
Stay away from the E Bay, Craig's list etc or anything you can't feel/see in person before parting with the cash.
My "daily" is the TAG Heuer is on the right. I've had that for about 11 years.
The Sub Mariner only gets worn when going out or special occasions.
