Some of us do not wear them to impress anyone. I wear mine because I enjoy them and frankly, I deserve them.
Bought my first, a steel and gold GMT Master in the 1970's in the PX. Several others have followed including my Fathers President.
Nothing like a Rolex. You guys want something else then go for it but there is no reason to knock the brand.
I paid $300 or so for my first GMT Master in the PX and its been valued at well over $5000 recently. Guess its a good investment and you know what, it still keeps good time! Wore it all last week and enjoyed it.
