My lady had a fresh gallon of milk explode in the backseat of our volvo wagon. She did not tell me, she just sopped it up with some towels and went about her business. The smell was so foul. About a week later, when you would step in the car, it would take your breath away. I hosed out the carpets, and vacumed them dry several times. 3.5 years later, that car still smells like cottage cheese.
