It's hard to make a center turbo bolt onto the stock header

Our turbos (dimensionally) are far different than conventional turbochargers since the bearing assembly is on the front so putting the turbo in the stock location is not only out of the question because it doesn't fit, but kind of like spence88mph said the stock turbo location is ancient technology as well. You didn't see 934/935 cars with turbos off to the side. It's just not as efficient.
With every turbo kit we make, regardless of the application, we build it to optimum efficiency for the fastest spool and broadest torque-band. We're not in the business of "bolt-on and go". However receptively you can get any simpler for a variable-vane turbo conversion considering all you have to do is switch out your header and muffler to match the turbo which is something that anyone should do when upgrading their turbo.

No, that would be ridiculous. The bumper is simply left off for us to quickly adjust the vanes and for people to easily see the layout of our setup.
