Congrats and I did the same thing (different location) 31 years ago this time of year. Never looked back and had a great time.
Spend all the time you can at school and study hard. Get good grades on your practical and it will show in the end. Also if you are at the least bit interested in sparks chasing, get your FCC license and you will have a job for life!
