That did get torpedoed. I think the consensus is the JE's are more compatible in the long run with Nickies cylinfers as the expansion/contraction of the metals is more in line with each other, than the JE with the Mahle cylinder.

I think their is a big advantage to dropping the motor without the trans-time! I think it is a fair bit faster motor only, and once you understand the relationship between the motor and trans when you mate them, they go right together.
