Yes, but none have been as successful as the 911. Why is that. Because it just gets better and better with each incarnation. If you want something different from Porsche, buy another model. There are several to choose from. Having been privileged to have a ride in a 997 GT3 recently I can testify that there is not much that can beat it for overall performance and 'livability'.
