Congrats on the car. If you want to save some bucks, and do some of the gruntwork, drop the engine&trans, then you can bring it to the porsche mechanic.

I suggest getting Wayne's 101 project book, and bring use a mechanic that specializes in 911s, not any mechanic.

There is a porsche dismantler in your near you, I bought a 3.6 from a few years back, don't remember the name, but he might know some local wrenches.

Closest mechanic I know to your area is Peter Dawe, near Stroudsburg.
