Dan,
If you could drive the car to Downingtown, why not drive down to Norristown and use my lift. I had a fellow member called me one day that he broke his clutch cable and was stranded several miles away from his home. He was looking for a shop to bring it on a weekend. I offered my place since I had a spare clutch cable sitting in the garage. AAA dropped the car at my place and he was out driving back home after 3 hours.
Bring a replacement cable with you and I'll be more than happy to assist you. PM me for details and I'll invite the other fellows to join the party.
