Counter if you wish.. that's all a part of selling.. But you need to consider:

1) does it make sense for you to sell it for the buyers first bid price?
2) How long the car has been on the market.. one month or one year?
2b) Have you had any other serious offers/interest in the car?
3) I hope you didn't restore it thinking you were going to make money
4) The market hasn't quite returned to the level 2 years ago, and folks still want 2.0l cars.. the more original the better.
5) Are you geographically desireable? Will buyers be flocking to NE Ohio for 914s? not likely.
