Yes - this has happened to me a couple of times.
In both cases, the buyer requested surface shipping that can take 8-10 weeks and then reported me to paypal after 5 weeks. Paypal requested proof of delivery, but of course that wasn't going to happen for a number of weeks.
They refunded the buyer his money and he got the parts a few weeks later.
Paypal was no help in reversing their refund as they had already closed the case.
In the end, contaced the local police and hired a local collection agency to recoup my funds.
