Badge of honor. Frame it.

In prep school we had what were called "canaries" due to the pink and yellow canary copy paper on which they were written. When you got into trouble, you got a canary. One guy who got three in one day we nicknamed "Bird Man." On the last day of class senior year, we snagged some blank ones and wrote one up for our German teacher, who was a great guy, but a strange duck with a silly laugh and who was prone to spells of great excitement. He loved it so much, he framed it and I saw it in his house 10 yrs. later.
