raising your arms sends blood down to the torso - for some reason it (appears that) is not being - ah - scavenged* properly and results in the nausea (perhaps from blood issues affecting receptors associated with the GI system)

that is my guess as a research physiologist, not a clinician

don't delay the MD visit
