I would second everything said here. Keep the A4 for the first baby and see how much you take up. We had a Volvo S60 with our first, and it was just fine.
Having the extra room of a mini van or SUV is nice, but when they are babies not really neccesary.
Don't sell the 930. I sold my 911 when my first was almost 2, bought another one when we had the second child. All 4 of us have gone on drives in the 911....
